Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Fast service, but great care. Tita Lu was so hospitable to her guests and especially to our table. Will definitely be coming back and making this one of my Kapitolyo staples."
"We love our experience in the restaurant. Servers constantly refilled water, asked if there were any allergies and we're quick to answer when we needed anything. The owner (I it was her) walked around and greeted each guest. We will surely come back, next time I'll try the other menu items"
"It’s so nice to have those nice Indonesian cuisine here. Fair price, super nice service. Only the fried chicken is too dry to me. Otherwise is really a good choice to have oversea food in Philippines"
"The place is so clean, nice and well maintained! The staff were nice and the food was great! Will come back with family and friends :)"
"I had dinner here for the first time, and the service was exceptional. The food was great too, though we found it a bit pricey. The servings, especially for the beef rendang and noodles, were quite small given the cost. Overall, it was still a good experience, and I’d like to come back to try their other dishes."
"It was my first time dining in Warung. I’ve heard so much about them but never got to chance to try. I think I just had one of the best chicken I’ve had in a while. We opted for the plain chicken rather than the sambal chicken… just asked for additional sambal on the side and they were gracious enough to give it for free. Besides this I had the fried tofu - sooooo good as well but I prefer it with the vinegar over its peanut sauce (mixed was pretty good too lol). 10/10 would recommend. Don’t usually write reviews but after this meal, I really should start doing so."
"It is my first time eating in an Indonesian resto. The staff was accommodating. The service was fast. The place was cozy and clean. Nasi Goreng was really good, just enough saltiness, good ratio of rice and proteins in it. Ayam Penyet was ok, some parts of the quarter chicken was dry coz it was deep fried. The sambal was not spicy, I wish it was. Will come back soon!"
"We’d been craving Indonesian food for a while and found this place through multiple social media recos. The place looks chic and spacious, housed in what looks like a repurposed old home. The menu isn’t overwhelming, and the food arrived within the time advised. I ordered the tempeh as an appetizer and really liked it! The coating reminded me of kwek-kwek, but healthier, and it was surprisingly filling. I also had the chicken satay with nasi goreng rice. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and it paired well with the rice. I felt very full after just these dishes. We’ll definitely be back to try their vegetable and seafood options. Overall, it was a lovely and satisfying experience that lived up to the reviews and recos online."
